Roy is an old friend of mine who I hadn’t seen in quite a while. I bumped into him at the Woodborough Wedding Fayre at the end of last year when he walked and set up his stall next to mine. Turns out that he has been performing at events, parties and weddings for the last couple of years. A few weeks later he asked me to take some new promo photos for his website and other materials, which I was happy to do.
If your looking for a cracking band or performer for your wedding etc, you should check ROY STONE & PERFORMANCE out. They’ve got a great repertoire, my personal favourite is their version of “Make Me Smile (Come up and See Me)“

Sheldene & André’s wedding was a small affair at the Council House, with just some close friends in attendance. Didn’t stop the nerves though for both of them. It all went very smoothly though, even when the Lord Mayor stopped by in the middle of the photoshoot.
This is is the first time I had shot a wedding at the Nottingham Registry Office since it moved to the Nottingham Council House and the nice thing is that there are now lots of place’s in the building to get some lovely photos of the couple and wedding party.

An Autumn wedding on an exceptionally fine day in the perfectly formed St. Patricks, a small church in Nuthall. Who could ask for anything more.
Family and guests filled up the church, having arrived from the Three Ponds or on the London Transport Routemaster, leaving just enough room for the Bride and Father to walk up the isle.
After the ceremony, everyone decamped to the Gateway for drinks and the wedding breakfast.
All round a good day.

I’ve had a couple of enquiries how to use the online photoservice to get the complimentary downloads for guests or to purchase prints, so I thought I would post a simple explanation of the process. But if you still have questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Family, friends and guests can pre-register to view the couple’s gallery by clicking on the link in the blog entry of the couple’s wedding. Once the couple have viewed their images and okayed sending out the passwords, email invitations are then send to those that have registered.
On the invitation email their will be a unique link to the gallery which you click on. The email will contain the gallery password that will give you access to view the images in the gallery. The following steps are illustrated with screen grabs (click image to view larger)
1. Click the Link, Use the Password
Clicking the link in the email invite will take you to the Gallery Password Required page. Use the password in the email to access the gallery.

2. View the Gallery
After entering the password you will be able to view thumbnails of the gallery one by one, or as a slideshow. You can view a full page version of an image by clicking on the chosen image.

To download the complementary images or to purchase prints and other items you will need to register as a user. You can do this by clicking on an image you wish to download and then click download in the bar just above the image. A dialogue box will pop up that says Login Required. At the bottom it will say “Not a member? Join”. Click Join and you will be taken to the next step…

4. Sign Up
After clicking Join you will be taken to the Sign Up page. Complete the steps on this page, tick the Terms & Conditions and click Submit. You will never receive any spam mail from my site and the only other email(s) you might receive would be notification of any changes to the gallery you signed up for.

5. Activation Email
Once you have completed the Sign Up page you will be sent a confirmation email to the address you have just registered. It should arrive within a matter of moments, however if you don’t see it in your inbox check your Junk folder, especially if you use a Hotmail account. The email will have a link in that you will need to click on, or paste to your address bar in your web browser. This will take you to the next step.
