The Folio Albums 12′ x 12″ album that I designed for Rosanna & Matt’s arrived a few days ago. I’ve been meaning to put something about their albums before because I think they are fabulous. They take the best of the traditional style; high quality leather covers, hand made with fantastic build quality and a wonderful texture and that real smell of leather; and combine that with sophisticated and contemporary stylings. Images printed on to the page with a beautiful range of colour and tones. The images have a clarity and vibrancy that is striking.
Choosing an album to present your photographs can be a difficult with many factors to consider which often boils down to cost and quality. A balancing act to get the best of both. Another bonus with the albums are that they are made in the UK (Barnsley actually) from mostly locally resourced materials and have a 15 – 20 day turnaround. With most of the mid to high end albums made abroad this can save quite a bit of time waiting for your album to arrive.
